He spent more than four decades in many branches in different positions across the Gujarat State in Trade Finance, Corporate Credit, Treasury, Foreign Exchange, Rural and Corporate banking.He retired when he was Regional Head – Gandhinagar Region, Dena Bank and was handling more than Rs. 1500 cr. business of the region and was in peak of his career. Post retirement he is involved in various spiritual, religious and social activities at various locations. He has hobbies such as Yoga, Reading, Writing, Meditation, Swimming, Cooking and Public Speaking.

Asit Selarka has around two decades of an experience in the field of Corporate Finance and have held several positions in various functions including Fund raising & Project Finance, Financial Planning & Cash Flow Management, Accounts & Taxation, Strategic Initiatives and Strategic Planning, Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Control & MIS, Forex Management, Investment Management, Project Management, Purchase, Operations, Export & Import, Administration and Systems in Manufacturing Sector. Asit Selarka has experience in wide range of industries in manufacturing sector. He has worked in a senior position in a Startup, Mid size Diversified Corporate and India’s renowned Corporate. He also possesses good insight in Energy, Solar, Agro Chemical, Biotechnology, Oil Extraction, Food-Feed & Agro, Engineering, Infrastructure, Hospitality and Stainless Steel manufacturing industry.

After post-graduation, he worked with International Broking Company dealing in Futures and Options in various currencies and commodities.

Subsequently, he joined Ahmedabad based steel manufacturing startup as a Finance Manager and rose to the level of General Manager – Commercial and handled wide responsibilities in Purchase, Corporate Finance, Administration, Operations, Exports, Imports and Systems. In his tenure with this startup he helped the company to achieve scale of operations and do forward and backward integration. In his tenure it became an integrated steel manufacturing company.

Then he joined Ahmedabad based Agro Chemical Group having presence in diversified industries. He joined as DGM (Finance) and rose to the level of Sr. GM (Finance) and CFO of one of the Group Company. In his decade long tenure, he held several positions in various functions including Fund raising & Project Finance, Financial Planning & Cash Flow Management, Accounts & Taxation, Strategic Initiatives and Strategic Planning, Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Control & MIS, Forex Management, Investment Management and Project Management. During his tenure with the group it diversified in various areas.

Lastly, Asit Selarka worked as a Finance Head of India’s largest Solar Cells and Module Manufacturing Company venture of Adani Group. Adani is one of India's leading business houses with revenue of about $12 billion, has transformed into a global integrated infrastructure player in core industry verticals — resources, logistics and energy.

He is also associated with Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA), All India Management Association (AIMA), Bhartiya Yog Sansthan, Institute of Engineers (IOE), Institution of Valuers (IOV) and Dun & Bradstreet (D&B). He is known speaker in various CFO Forums and Management Institutes such as PDPU. He has various hobbies such as Yoga, Reading, Public speaking and Swimming.
